Celebrate! West Hartford

We will be in the town center of West Hartford at Celebrate! West Hartford this coming weekend. This show has been rated one of the 200 best by the Sunshine Arts and has some wonderful artisans. Come check it out.

Everyone loves lariats!! We have just replenished our stock with all new designs. Some are on the website, but others aren't up yet. All of our new jewelry will be in the booth in West Hartford. We're trying to get all the new stuff online, so check back for that.

Playing with my new palm pre

Hi all.  I just got the palm pre today and am loving it!!  It has completely expanded my horizons with all of my networking capabilities.  I highly recommend it.  Although I've only been using it for one day, but I haven't found anything I don't like about it so far.  I'll keep you posted.

art fest this weekend

this weekend we're heading to long island again. we'll be at Heckscher park in Huntington, NY at the art league of long islands' art and antiques in the park. the even is saturday and sunday. check it out. tell us you found us on our blog and you'll get 10% off!

just sold this piece this past weekend at virtu art fest in westerly, RI. sales were down from last year, which is to be expected in this economy, but we still had a fantastic show, which is encouraging for our upcoming shows!

we're global! our website has gotten some hits from abroad! we've been picked up in london, which is very exciting and strange all at the same time. YAY for us.

Stuff I like right now

A Fantastic Weekend

Kelly and I had a fantastic weekend at the Old Deerfield Craft Fair at the Big E. We met some wonderful crafters and the show promoters were some of the best that we've worked with. We are very happy to be a new addition to their shows for the upcoming year. We will be at the Historic Deerfield Village in Deerfield, MA for two shows, June 21-22 and the fall show on September 19-20. The village is a mile long street with 11 historic houses from the 1700's and specialty exhibits from the period. It should prove to be some great fun!

ocean dream necklace

i wanted to post this necklace and talk a little about stuff we have coming out this year. i called this necklace ocean dream and used painted shells, glass pearls, fresh water pearls, a swarovski crystal pendant and bali sterling silver with japanese glass seed beads as accents. the components of the necklace are wire-wrapped to sterling silver links that join to the sterling silver toggle clasp with a bali cone and 9 strands of various sized seed beads. people often call this style of attaching components to chain a "cha cha" bracelet or necklace. we love using this method as every piece looks completely different than the next and the resulting necklace is all baubly and full of an interesting mix of beads. we are constantly changing our website and adding cha cha items.
